Dr. Swaraj Rajbhandari is a senior Obstetrician/Gynecologist with over 35 years of experience in clinical and technical leadership in maternal, neonatal and reproductive health. She has worked extensively in international public health, specializing in the implementation of integrated quality reproductive health services at the regional, national and district levels in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. She has vast experience in developing national standards, manuals, guidelines, and protocols and in assessing health facilities, with a special focus on training needs, logistic supplies, and program evaluation. Dr. Rajbhandari has worked with several organizations including Jhpiego, Intrahealth, M4Health, Options, University of Manitoba, and Engender health. She is a Founding Member and Past President of the Nepal Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (NESOG), and the Menopause Society of Nepal (MESON). She has written and published several papers in National and International Journals and presented papers and participated in numerous conferences and seminars. Dr. Rajbhandari holds an MBBS from Dow Medical College, Karachi University and has an MPH from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public.
