The AlignMNH Collective in April 2022 is a critical and seminal moment for the maternal and newborn health (MNH) community as it marks one year until the International Maternal Newborn Health Conference (IMNHC), in May 2023, which will bring together thousands of stakeholders for the first time since 2015 when the Global Maternal Newborn Health Conference was held in Mexico City, Mexico. This forum will convene these stakeholders to share, review and discuss the goals and objectives of the IMNHC and introduce some of the focus content areas that will be part of the official tracks at the proceedings.

Following the Opening Forum in April 2021, the community provided input on which topics would be of interest for follow-up discussions and as such, the AlignMNH Collective: April 2022 will address priority areas for MNH that reflect that consensus. In bringing the MNH community together by convening stakeholders at the regional and global levels to discuss emerging evidence, implementation successes and promising solutions for accelerating progress toward targets in MNH, the AlignMNH Collective: April 2022 will focus on tracking progress, respectful care and experience of care, and quality of care.

The event will take place over four days and convene stakeholders globally through a series of pre-recorded webinars, live moderated discussions with Q&A, and regional conversations in Africa and Asia. Please check back for more information and sign up for our newsletter below to receive updates.
