Dr. Dalya Eltayeb is the Maternal and Child Health Director at the Federal Ministry of Health of Sudan. She is a public health professional from a medical background, has a Master of Public Health from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and a Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights fellow at the University of Lund, Sweden. She is an expert in maternal/reproductive and child health, health policy analysis and quantitative research. She worked previously in several posts that include quality improvement of Maternal and Child Health Services, implementation research related to GBV/FGM and Respectful Maternal Care, and surveillance at the Federal Ministry of Health and International NGOs.
