Dr. Mickey Chopra is the Global Solutions Lead for Service Delivery in the Health, Nutrition and Population global practice of the World Bank. There, he leads the knowledge management work related to health systems development with a specific focus upon service. Previously, he served as the Chief of Health and Associate Director of Programs at UNICEF. He has written over 150 peer reviewed articles and has been involved in the governance of all the leading global health institutions involved in maternal, newborn and child health. Dr. Chopra is qualified as a medical doctor with an additional degree in medical sociology from the University of Southampton, MPH at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and a Ph.D. from Faculty of Medicine, University of Uppsala in Sweden.
