Ms. Bentoe Zoogley Tehoungue is a certified midwife, nurse, public health professional and maternal and newborn Health Champion with over 15 years working experience in both local and international NGOs, UN agencies, and the Ministry of Health Liberia. Currently, Bentoe serves as the Director for the Family Health Program in Liberia that is responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring Reproductive Maternal Newborn Child Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) interventions. She has worked in different positions across diverse thematic areas, including health systems strengthening, capacity building, health pandemics, conflict and post-conflict situations, health policy design and implementation, organizational development and respectful maternal and child health research and programming. She is a member and board member of various professional networks and membership associations, including West African College of Nursing, the Maternal and Newborn Health Champions for Africa and the Ford Madden Christian Academy. She has led the implementation of several RMNCAH programs and research that contribute to the increase in skilled birth attendance and the reduction or maternal mortality in Liberia.
